SUP Trip to Moon Bay
What to bring: Swimwear and towel, sunscreen, and a cap
Location: Strunjan, Izola - SanSimon
Moon Bay
is one of the most beautiful hidden treasures of the Slovenian coast that you can explore on a SUP board. The wonderful underwater landscape, made up of long flysch rocks and diverse marine fauna, will enchant you. The fish might be too busy with their tasks to pay attention to you, but you can admire them in their natural habitat.
What does the SUP trip involve?
We gather in the shade of poplars at the Salinera beach in Strunjan. Before we set off together, our instructor will explain the basics of SUPing. Our first stop will be at a mussel bed, so you can get used to the board and greet the cormorants wintering here. From there, we'll embark on a 50 shades of green-blue ride towards Moon Bay. The instructor is also a water rescuer, so you can swim and have fun carefree. You'll find time for exploring the seabed, snorkeling, and resting on the board.
More than just a SUP trip - an adventure for the soul
A SUP trip to Moon Bay goes beyond the usual sports activity; it's an experience that enriches the soul and offers a chance for personal growth. In this peaceful haven, far from the daily hustle, you'll find space for meditation, yoga exercises on the board, or simply silent contemplation of nature. This part of our adventure is dedicated to tranquility and connecting with nature, allowing for a complete retreat from everyday stress and offering a chance for inner peace and rejuvenation.
